New Board Leadership and Interim Management

New President Christian Gutknecht and Vice-President Charlotte van Ooijen Falce are temporarily also taking on the operational management of Opendata.ch.

Board changes

Christian and Charlotte took over the leadership of the Board earlier this summer, after Andreas Kellerhals stepped down as President at the end of June 2026. In August, Sabine Wildemann also left the Board.

We would like to take this opportunity to warmly thank Andreas Kellerhals for his many years of commitment to Opendata.ch. A more detailed appreciation of his work will follow at the next General Assembly. We also thank Sabine Wildemann for her valuable contribution during her time on the Board.

Interim management

Until a new Managing Director has been appointed, the Board — in particular Christian and Charlotte — is taking over operational management. If you have any questions for the interim leadership, please contact us at info@opendata.ch.

GLAMhack and Prototype Fund

Opendata.ch thrives on the commitment of its community. We therefore greatly appreciate that our Advisory Board member Lionel Walter is leading the organisation of this year’s GLAMhack 2026.

We are equally pleased to have found a capable partner in Intersections, who stepped in at short notice to lead the current round of the Prototype Fund on responsible and sustainable AI. More on the Prototype Fund coming soon!
