The fourth Open Farming Hackdays took place on 22–23 March 2024 at the Liebegg agricultural centre in Gränichen, organised by Liebegg, Hightech Zentrum Aargau and Opendata.ch. More than 70 participants from agriculture, development and engineering heard 20 challenges and went on to work on ten projects, from a platform against invasive neophytes and ML cameras for biodiversity to digital mouse control. At the final presentations one team even put a tractor centre stage. Among the follow-ups is the #zämmesammle platform against invasive neophytes.

On 22 and 23 March 2024, the fourth Open Farming Hackdays will take place at the Liebegg agricultural centre. Help shape the agriculture and food industry of tomorrow.
For the fourth time, hackdays are being organised for the agricultural sector in the canton of Aargau. At the Open Farming Hackdays, creative ideas and prototypes are to be developed on the basis of open agricultural data (Open Farming Data) in order to support the ecological intensification of agriculture sought by the federal government. In future, producers should receive data-based applications and tools that enable them to farm more efficiently and sustainably.
