“The right to one’s own data should be a human right”

“Golliez appeals to the Federal Council and business leaders to engage much more with the issue [of the right to one’s own data]. The political focus, he says, is still too much on protecting data rather than on using it. That companies, out of self-interest, resist greater user rights is obvious. But this must not lead to taboos on thinking.”
