More transparency, understanding and innovation thanks to open financial data

More than 120 designers, programmers, journalists, specialists and laypeople took part in the fourth national make.opendata.ch Hackdays on finance in Bern and Sierre, bringing more transparency, understanding and innovation to public and private income and expenditure.
On Friday and Saturday, 22 and 23 March 2013, revealing visualisations and innovative applications using financial data were created at the University of Bern and, at the same time, at the University of Applied Sciences Western Switzerland Valais in Sierre.
