Open Data Student Award
Every year, since 2018, we award the Open Data Student Award to a student project that uses open data in the most outstanding and innovative way. Over the years we have seen lots of innovative and interesting work carried out by data science and data visualization students.
The problem
At first glance, data science might not appear to be an attractive, interesting field of study. But once you get started, data does not let you go. Plus, not enough people know about open data and its perks.
The solution
To motivate students to work with open data and to honor their achievements we reward the most outstanding student work with a cash prize and a trophy.
