Nous organisons régulièrement des Hackathons afin de renforcer la publication et l’utilisation de données ouvertes ainsi que l’innovation ouverte et interdisciplinaire dans toutes sortes de secteurs, de l’agriculture au multilinguisme.

Le problème

D’une part, trop peu de personnes participent activement à la transformation actuelle de notre société par les données. Et s’ils le sont, ils ont tendance à travailler seuls ou dans leurs propres silos. D’autre part, les organisations et les organismes publics sont réticents à publier des données, sauf s’il existe une demande ou un avantage clair.

La solution

Notre objectif est de motiver, d’habiliter et de connecter diverses personnes et organisations pour qu’elles façonnent ensemble notre numérisation dans un esprit ouvert, collaboratif et interdisciplinaire. Lors des Hackathons, des personnes de tous horizons utilisent leurs compétences dans le but d’initier et de façonner activement des processus d’innovation pour le bien commun. Dans le cadre de processus bottom-up, ouverts et collaboratifs, des solutions numériques sont développées, souvent sur la base de données ouvertes. Nous incitons ainsi diverses organisations et agences publiques à publier de nouveaux ensembles de données ou à améliorer la qualité de leurs données ouvertes.

En outre, nous soutenons des groupes de travail thématiques tels que le Energy Data Working Group et Open Farming Working Group afin de favoriser des échanges plus réguliers entre les différentes

arties prenantes d’un secteur.

Das Problem

Einerseits sind nicht genügend Menschen aktiv an der datengesteuerten Transformation unserer Gesellschaft beteiligt. Und wenn sie es doch tun, arbeiten sie meist allein oder in ihren eigenen Silos. Andererseits zögern Organisationen und öffentliche Einrichtungen, Daten zu veröffentlichen, wenn es keinen eindeutigen Bedarf oder Nutzen gibt.

Die Lösung

Unser Ziel ist es, verschiedene Personen und Organisationen zu motivieren, zu befähigen und zu verbinden, um unsere Digitalisierung mit einer offenen, kollaborativen und interdisziplinären Denkweise mitzugestalten. Bei Hackathons setzen Menschen aus allen Lebensbereichen ihre Fähigkeiten ein, um Innovationsprozesse für das Gemeinwohl zu initiieren und aktiv zu gestalten. In bottom-up, offenen und kollaborativen Prozessen werden digitale Lösungen entwickelt – oft auf der Basis von offenen Daten. Dabei motivieren wir diverse Organisationen und öffentliche Stellen, neue Datensätze zu veröffentlichen oder ihre Open-Data-Qualität zu verbessern.

Darüber hinaus unterstützen wir thematische Arbeitsgruppen wie die Energy Data Working Group und die Open Farming Working Group, um einen regelmässigeren Austausch zwischen verschiedenen Interessengruppen einer Branche zu ermöglichen.

We organise Hackathons on a regular basis in order to strengthen open data publication and usage as well as open and interdisciplinary innovation in all kinds of sectors, from farming to multilingualism.

The problem

On one hand, not enough people are actively involved in today’s data-driven transformation of our society. And if they are, they tend to work alone or in their own silos. On the other hand, organisations and public agencies are reluctant to publish data unless there is a clear demand or benefit.

The solution

We aim to motivate, empower and connect diverse individuals and organisations to co-shape our digitalisation with an open, collaborative and interdisciplinary mindset. During Hackathons people from all walks of life use their skills with the aim of initiating and actively shaping innovation processes for the common good. In bottom-up, open and collaborative processes, digital solutions are developed – often on the basis of open data. Thereby we motivate diverse organisations and public agencies to publish new datasets or improve their open data quality.

In addition, we support thematic working groups like the Energy Data Working Group and the Open Farming Working Group in order to foster more regular exchanges between different stakeholders of an industry.
